Details

[Main Ingredients] Enrofloxacin, Olaquindox.
[Indications] Primarily indicated for dysentery, calf paratyphoid, lamb dysentery, epidemic diarrhea, transmissible gastroenteritis, viral diarrhea, necrotizing enteritis, gastrointestinal dysfunction, and enterotoxemia caused by Escherichia coli, Salmonella, and clostridia in cattle and sheep.

Cow:

Calf diarrhea Calf diarrhea is often caused by pathogenic Escherichia coli and is also known as white scours; it is characterized by severe diarrhea and sepsis.
Bovine paratuberculosis Caused by Salmonella, the disease in cattle is characterized primarily by elevated body temperature and subsequent diarrhea; in pregnant cows, it may lead to abortion.
Bovine rotavirus disease Rotavirus causes vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, and death in calves. It is most commonly observed in calves younger than one week of age and is often accompanied by Escherichia coli infection. Clinical signs include severe diarrhea, mucosal inflammation, erosions, and necrosis. At the onset, body temperature may rise to 40–42°C, with anorexia, serous discharge from the nose and eyes, erosion of the oral mucosa, foul‑smelling breath, profuse watery diarrhea that is expelled in a jetting fashion and contains mucus and blood, and severe dehydration leading to loss of skin elasticity. Affected animals typically succumb within one to two weeks of illness.

Sheep:

Lamb white diarrhea Lamb white diarrhea is an acute infectious disease of lambs caused by pathogenic Escherichia coli, characterized pathologically by gastroenteritis or septicemia, and it commonly affects lambs under six weeks of age.
Clostridial diseases in sheep Clostridial diseases of sheep are a group of infectious disorders caused by pathogenic bacteria of the genus Clostridium. They include lamb dysentery, sheep sudden death syndrome, enterotoxemia, pulpy kidney disease, and blackleg, among others. The hallmark clinical features are fever, bloody diarrhea, abrupt onset, and rapid mortality. Affected animals exhibit a body temperature exceeding 40°C, depression, reduced or absent appetite, abdominal pain, and pass yellow‑green or yellow‑white watery stools that may be dark red, foul‑smelling, and porridge‑like, accompanied by teeth grinding and vocalization. Some cases present with abdominal distension, no diarrhea or only scanty bloody stools, flaccid limbs, labored breathing, drooling, and ultimately, coma and death.

[Clinical Recommended Combinations]

  1. After mixing the anti-diarrheal serum (enrofloxacin injection) with Xianfeng Anti-Diarrhea (acetylmeth喹oline injection), administer 0.1 mL per kilogram of body weight to cattle and sheep (i.e., one set of this product is sufficient for 200 kg of body weight).
  2. Glucose or oral rehydration solution may be administered orally or by gavage.
  3. Strengthen feeding management and maintain clean, dry housing. Extensive clinical trials have demonstrated that the above regimen effectively controls diarrhea in cattle and sheep caused by various etiologies, with a cure rate exceeding 95%.
