[Product Composition] Sodium Penicillin, Enrofloxacin
[Indications] Streptococcosis in pigs is a zoonotic infectious disease characterized by high fever, subcutaneous hemorrhage, neurological signs, joint swelling, and lameness.
(1) Streptococcosis in pigs, septicemic form: affected pigs exhibit high fever, anorexia, and diffuse subcutaneous hemorrhage.
(2) Cerebral type of streptococcal encephalitis: Affected pigs exhibit neurological signs.
(3) Streptococcosis in pigs, articular form: affected pigs exhibit joint swelling.
(4) Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae: In affected pigs, the mesenteric lymph nodes are enlarged and exhibit severe hemorrhage.

【Usage and Dosage】Administer by intramuscular injection. Prior to use, dilute one vial of Streptocin A (Sodium Penicillin for Injection, 4 million units) with 10 ml of Streptocin B (Enrofloxacin Injection) to prepare a solution suitable for sheep, pigs, foals, and calves weighing 100–200 kg, as well as horses and cattle weighing 200–400 kg. For animals with high fever, administer concurrently an injection of Flunixin Meglumine Injection.
Prevention and control plan: During peak seasons and in high-incidence areas, enhanced measures for the prevention and control of this disease are required.
① Administer a live attenuated vaccine by intramuscular injection after weaning.
② Strengthen livestock management, maintain strict hygiene in the farm, and implement rigorous disinfection measures; special attention should be given to the management of pig traders and farm workers.
③ Regular health care to enhance the pigs’ disease resistance;
④ Any pigs suspected of being ill must be immediately isolated, and disinfection of farm facilities, personnel, and equipment must be intensified.
⑤Preventive regimen: Add Dingjian Amox (compound amoxicillin powder) + vitamin C soluble powder + Qingwen Shuangxiao (Shuanghuanglian oral liquid) to the drinking water.
