[Indications]

  Pig

Piglets around 3 days old pass bloody stools mixed with copious foam, with a high mortality rate.

Within the first 7 days of life, piglets exhibit yellowish-white, watery diarrhea, sunken eyes, and a mortality rate ranging from 50% to 100%.

Around 20 days of age, piglets pass white, pasty, watery feces; some also exhibit edema or neurological signs.

Piglets exhibit fever, diarrhea or constipation around the time of weaning, with feces containing sloughed intestinal mucosa.

Finishing pigs exhibit persistent grayish-yellow, watery feces containing large amounts of undigested feed or sloughed intestinal mucosa; the herd shows poor growth and development, with coarse, disheveled hair, emaciation, and few mortalities.

Finishing pigs or sows suddenly pass black, pasty, watery feces, develop bloating, and die within 1–2 days.

Cattle, sheep

Calf white diarrhea and lamb white diarrhea: Calves or lambs under 10 days of age develop fever and pass grayish-white, watery stools; bloody stools may occasionally be observed. The younger the animal, the higher the mortality rate.

Clostridial diseases in sheep: sudden onset and rapid mortality.
