【Characteristics】This product is a reddish-brown liquid.
[Pharmacological Action] This product exerts its disinfectant effect by continuously releasing free iodine, thereby disrupting the metabolism of pathogenic microorganisms and leading to their death. It is a highly effective, low-toxicity disinfectant with broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
[Indications and Uses] A halogen-based disinfectant and antiseptic. Used for disinfection of surgical sites, skin, and mucous membranes.
【Usage and Dosage】Calculated as povidone‑iodine. For skin disinfection and treatment of dermatoses, use a 5% solution; for teat dipping in dairy cows, use a 0.5%–1% solution; for irrigation of mucous membranes and wounds, use a 0.1% solution.
