【Characteristics】This product is a colorless to slightly yellowish clear liquid with a distinctive pungent odor.
[Pharmacological Action] Glutaraldehyde is a disinfectant and antiseptic with broad-spectrum, high‑efficacy, and rapid disinfection. It exhibits swift bactericidal activity against both Gram‑positive and Gram‑negative bacteria and effectively inactivates bacterial vegetative forms, spores, viruses, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, and fungi. Its aqueous solution achieves optimal antimicrobial efficacy at a pH of 7.5–7.8.
[Functions and Uses] An aldehyde-based disinfectant and antiseptic. Used for the disinfection of rubber and plastic products, surgical instruments, and animal housing.
[Usage and Dosage] Spray until thoroughly soaked: Prepare a 0.78% solution and allow it to remain for 5 minutes, or until dry.
