Details
[Main Ingredients] Potassium peroxymonosulfate triple salt complex, sodium chloride, surfactant, organic acid, inorganic buffering system
→ Potassium peroxymonosulfate complex is an officially recommended disinfectant by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China for the prevention and control of African swine fever. In addition, it can also be used to prevent and control avian influenza and foot-and-mouth disease. It is the first and only veterinary disinfectant approved and registered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the prevention of foot-and-mouth disease, and it also serves as an excellent substrate‑conditioning agent in aquaculture.
【Product Features】
(1) Efficient : It can inactivate pathogenic microorganisms such as viruses, bacteria, and fungi within 5 minutes.
(2) Stability : Unaffected by water quality. The pink color serves as an indicator of the active ingredient; after 48 hours, the color gradually fades, and the disinfecting efficacy diminishes. When the solution becomes colorless, it has lost its effectiveness.
(3) Broad-spectrum It can effectively inactivate a wide range of viruses, including the novel coronavirus, African swine fever virus, foot-and-mouth disease virus, and avian influenza virus, and also exhibits strong virucidal activity against bacteria, bacterial spores, mycoplasmas, fungi, and molds.
(4) Low irritation : A 1% concentration of Dingjian Guardian exhibits very low skin irritation in livestock and also causes minimal eye irritation.
(5) Environmental protection It is harmless to humans, livestock, and the environment, as its final metabolic products—hypochlorous acid and carbon dioxide—are environmentally non‑polluting.
Chain reaction process of an aqueous solution of potassium bisulfate complex powder |
||
| Chlorination | HOCL | Increases the permeability of pathogenic microbial cell membranes, causing the proteins of pathogenic microorganisms to coagulate and denature. |
| Chlorination | H 2 O 2 Reactive oxygen free radicals | Causes denaturation and coagulation of pathogenic microbial proteins and degrades nucleic acids. |
| Oxidation | H + | Hydrolyzed proteins and nucleic acids |
Mechanism of action: acidification, oxidation, chlorination
