[Indications]

Bacterial: intestinal inflammation, bacillary dysentery, shigellosis, clostridial enteritis, paratyphoid fever, and other conditions causing diarrhea at various stages of intestinal inflammation;
Viral: Watery diarrhea at all stages caused by infectious gastroenteritis, epidemic diarrhea, rotavirus disease, and other conditions;
Damp‑heat dysentery—white dysentery in poultry such as chickens, ducks, and geese, as well as damp‑heat diarrhea caused by typhoid fever and other etiologies—is particularly common at the transition from summer to autumn.
