【Characteristics】This product is a white to grayish-yellow powder or a loose, friable mass.
[Indications and Uses] A β-lactam antibiotic. It is primarily used to treat bacterial diseases in livestock and poultry, such as bacterial respiratory infections in cattle and pigs, and Escherichia coli and Salmonella infections in chickens.
【Usage and Dosage】Calculated on the basis of ceftiofur. Intramuscular injection: Single dose, 3–5 mg per kg body weight for pigs, once daily for 3 consecutive days. Subcutaneous injection: For 1-day-old chickens, 0.1 mg per bird.
