【Characteristics】This product is a clear reddish-brown liquid.
[Function] Resolves dampness and stops dysentery.
Indications: Dysentery, enteritis.
Dysentery Clinical signs include mental depression, a hunched posture lying on the ground, decreased or even absent appetite, reduced or ceased rumination in ruminants, and dry nasal mirror; the animal arches its back and strains, passes loose stools with incomplete evacuation, experiences tenesmus and urgency, exhibits diarrhea consisting of thin, pasty feces mixed with blood and mucus, sometimes appearing as a white, gelatinous substance; the oral mucosa is bright red, the tongue coating is yellow and greasy, and the pulse is rapid.
Enteritis Clinical manifestations include fever, depression, decreased or absent appetite, excessive thirst with frequent drinking, occasional mild abdominal pain, a tendency to lie curled up, watery, sticky, and foul-smelling stools, reddish and scanty urine, a bright red oral mucosa, a yellow, greasy tongue coating, halitosis, and a deep, rapid pulse.
【Usage and Dosage】Horses and cattle: 50–100 ml; sheep and pigs: 10–20 ml; rabbits and poultry: 1–2 ml.
[Specification] Each 1 mL is equivalent to 1 g of the crude drug.
