[Main Ingredients] Houttuynia cordata.
【Characteristics】This product is a colorless, clear liquid.
【Functions】Clears heat and detoxifies, reduces swelling and drains pus, promotes diuresis and relieves dysuria.
Indications: Lung abscess, dysentery, breast abscess, and leukorrhea.
- Lung abscess Clinical manifestations include persistent high fever, frequent cough and wheezing, purulent nasal discharge or nasal mucus streaked with blood, a red tongue with yellow coating, and a rapid pulse.
- Dysentery The clinical presentation includes dysentery with pus and blood, tenesmus, sticky and malodorous stools, intermittent abdominal pain, a red complexion, a yellow tongue coating, and a rapid pulse.
- Breast abscess Clinical manifestations include breast distension and pain, with milk that has undergone degeneration, containing curd-like clots or streaks of blood.
- Turbid urine Clinical manifestations include frequent urination, urgency, dysuria, difficulty initiating urination, terminal dribbling, or hematuria and/or passage of sand or stones.
【Usage and Dosage】Intramuscular injection: Horses and cattle, 20–40 ml; sheep and pigs, 5–10 ml; dogs, 2–5 ml; cats, 0.5–2 ml.
